Not painted. Not taped. Born in the plastic itself.
The Golden Scarab is unlike any hoop we have ever made. Its color is not on the surface — it is embedded inside the polypro tubing during manufacturing. As light strikes the hoop from different angles, the spectrum shifts: gold burns into amber, amber bleeds into emerald, emerald cools to teal, teal ignites into crimson. Every movement reveals a new color. Every flow is a different story.

What Sets It Apart
Crafted for the obsessed.
✦
Embedded Color Technology
The color-shift pigment is fused into the polypro during extrusion. It cannot chip, peel, or fade. It is the tubing.
◈
Glossy Rubber Grip Surface
A gloss finish that feels like soft rubber against the skin — tactile, responsive, and satisfying in every isolation and fold.
⬡
Limited Edition Only
The Golden Scarab is a seasonal release. Once this run sells out, there is no guarantee of a restock. Each hoop is one of a limited number.
☽
Color Shifting Pigment
In the sun, the hoop transforms again — the gold and green channels ignite, making day flows supernatural.
◯
Handmade to Order
Every Golden Scarab is assembled by hand at our Boulder, Colorado studio. Your size. Your grip preference. Made for you.
⊕
Push-Button Collapsible
Standard rivet push-button connection folds the hoop flat for travel. Lightweight polypro flies in checked or carry-on luggage.
The Myth Behind the Hoop
The Scarab rolls the sun across the sky.
To the ancient Egyptians, the golden scarab beetle was one of the most sacred symbols in existence. Khepri — the scarab-headed god — was believed to roll the sun across the heavens each morning, just as the dung beetle rolls its sphere across the earth. The scarab was Ra. The scarab was rebirth. The scarab was the endless cycle of transformation.
A circle that returns to itself. An object rolled endlessly forward. A ritual object worn by warriors and pharaohs as a talisman of protection.
We could think of no better name for a hoop whose colors shift like sunlight on a beetle’s wing — gold to green to crimson and back again — and whose purpose is the same as it has always been: to move, to transform, to glow.
