I’ve never hooped before. Will all three hoops be useful to me right away?
Start with the 38” PE hoop. It’s designed specifically for learning on-body hooping from scratch — the extra size and weight give your body time to react and build the muscle memory. The 34” polypro will feel more natural once you can keep the 38” spinning consistently. The 28” will start to make sense when you want to try off-body moves. You’ll reach for all three at different moments, but you don’t need to master one before touching the others.
What’s the difference between PE and polypro?
Polyethylene (PE) is the heavier, slightly softer tubing used in beginner hoops. It’s denser, which slows the hoop’s rotation and makes it forgiving for waist hooping. Polypro is lighter, stiffer, and more responsive — it bounces back when you push it and moves faster. Most intermediate and advanced hoopers use polypro for the majority of their practice because it amplifies your movements and responds quickly to technique. The bundle gives you both so you can feel the difference for yourself.
Do all three hoops come in the same colour?
Yes — that’s one of the best things about this bundle. You select a single colour scheme from eight options (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Black) and all three hoops are made in that colour. They read as a matched set, which looks great when you’re working with multiple hoops or gifting the bundle.
Can the polypro hoops fold for travel?
Yes. Both polypro hoops (34” and 28”) are built with a standard push-button rivet connection, which means they collapse flat for transport or storage. The 38” PE beginner hoop is a standard solid hoop and does not collapse.
Is this bundle a good gift for someone who wants to start hooping?
