I discovered hooping in May of 2010 when I had attended my first music festival. At first hooping was just a hobby. My new circle was a learning tool for me to open up, learn, grow, and connect with others. I then started to make my own hoops not long after, again just as a hobby. I started making "special concept" hoops and soon started to receive custom requests to make them for others. Thus "Feather Hoops" was born in 2012, which then became "Flow Concepts" on Etsy in 2015. I made anything and everything from gyro hoops, square hoops, hoops with stuff flying off the ends, heart hoops, triquetras, fire hoops, and my own InceptaSquoop (gyro square). I was performing here and there through out the years but did not start "professionally" performing until I moved from my Chicago-suburban hometown to south Florida in October of 2015. Once I moved my life down south, I had contacted an elite group of entertainers that called themselves "Rainbow Circus Miami". They had been searching for a hooper for 2 years! My dreams had finally come true! I ran away and joined a circus and was their lead hula hoop artist! I still perform with Rainbow Circus Miami as their main hula hoop artist, but they have also trained me in other areas such as stilt walking, globe walking, aerial apparatuses, conditioning/stretching, lollipop, unicycle, juggling & more. I also work 6 days a week at a children's gymnastics facility, Kids Choice Dance, Sport, and Fitness in Boca Raton, FL, where I also happen to teach Hoop classes to kids 3 days a week! I currently have 9 students between the ages of 7-15.
